The mattes are the better formula here and I find all of them x3 to be really soft and creamy. The shimmers are also lovely — not too subtle but not too sparkly, either. The primer is pale beige in color but dries to an invisible film on the lids. It helps the shadows to adhere better for an all-day wear and it also prevents creasing. The quality could surely be improved for some of the shades but overall, I am not disappointed with this palette at all.
Aside from Untamed, the rest of the shades perform the way I expected them to. The easy shades of rose gold, bronze, and brown work so well together that you really can't go wrong with any combination you come up with.
I also like the fact that there are all the colors that you need to create eye looks in here without having to resort to another palette! The price tag is very reasonable, too, considering you are getting a generous amount of shadows in each pan and then you also get a bonus eye primer. Oh thank you, Almu! You are so kind!
But… what is the Liebster Award? If I had to pick only one, would you say this one or the lorac pro? Thank you for swatching! Definitely get the Pro! That palette is the bomb!!! And it has a wider range of colors. Thank you so much, Nicole! The shimmer shades remind me of the new bareMinerals Ready shadows, in that they feel and look like crushed metallic pigments. They lend a bit of light-catching shine to the eyelid, which is very flattering in my opinion.
The matte shades are lovely as well. They are not at all chalky, which I have found can be the case with some other brands.
The only negative I have found with the shadows in the Unzipped Palette is that there can be a tiny bit of fall-out. Urban Decay Naked Palette. Don't get me wrong, my Naked Palette will always have a special place in my heart. I feel Urban Decay makes some of the best eyeshadows available on the market in terms of color range, texture and pigmentation. The only thing that frustrates me with that palette, and makes me consider whether or not I will ever repurchase, is that I really only ever use 4 of the shades out of the entire palette Sin, Naked, Buck, Toasted.
All of the other colors are either too glittery hears looking at you UD Sidecar , too warm, or too dark to work with my coloring. But if you are like me, and are inclined to use more truly neutral tones on your eyes, Unzipped might be something to consider.
Bottom Line: Ladies, go pick up this palette while you still can!! It is worth every penny! Thank you so much for reading! Does this look like a palette you might pick up? Lennyn82 April 4, at PM.

How to Use. Prime, highlight, shade, contour and line with Unzipped formula eye shadows. The colors are perfect. I was just emailing Lorac a few months ago asking begging for this to be released again! The light shimmery shades are the best light neutral. Date published: While the shimmers are not like the new formula in terms of "popping", the formula is of course, amazing as ever.
I have had two original Pro palettes, Pro 2, Pro 3, and the Pro Noir and the Unzipped palette is the same reliable and easy to work with formula. Highly recommend.
